On 5 February 2018, the 99 employees of the Old Marx Company, which is under APM terminals in Dronagiri node in Uran taluka, were fired by the company administration without any reason or pre-notice. Even today, 8 months have passed since labor workers are deprived of employment. Since 19th of November 2018, 99 employees of the Old Marx Company have been sitting in front of the company’s gate for fasting untill death to get justice. Guardian Minister of Raigad Shri. Ravindra Chavan visited at this fasting protest against company. On this, the Guardian Minister said that “through democracy, we will solve the problem and you will definitely get justice.”
