Powers and rights of Mayor were discussed at length.It was unanimously resolved to send representation to the Govt to enhance the rights of Mayor's.[:hi]अखिल भारतीय स्थानिक स्वराज्य संस्था, मुंबई आणि पनवेल महानगरपालिका यांच्या वतीने आयोजित महाराष्ट्र महापौर परिषदेची १७वी सभा उलवे नोड येथील रामशेठ ठाकूर इंटरनॅशनल स्पोर्ट्स कॉम्प्लेक्समध्ये झाली. या सभेत महापौरांचे हक्क व अधिकारांबाबत सविस्तर चर्चा करण्यात आली. या वेळी महापालिकेच्या सर्वांगीण विकासासाठी आमच्या अधिकारात वाढ करावी, अशी एकमुखी मागणी उपस्थित सर्व महापौरांनी केली. यासंदर्भात महापौर परिषद शासनाकडे पाठपुरावा करणार आहे. या वेळी परिषदेचे अध्यक्ष व बृहन्मुंबईचे महापौर विश्वनाथ महाडेश्वर, पनवेलच्या महापौर डॉ. कविता चौतमोल, सभागृह नेते परेश ठाकूर, आयुक्त गणेश देशमुख, महाराष्ट्र महापौर परिषदेचे कार्याध्यक्ष रणजित चव्हाण, संयोजक लटके यांच्यासह विविध ठिकाणचे महापौर, सभापती, नगरसेवक, अधिकारी आदी उपस्थित होते.[:] 1](https://www.prashantthakur.in/wp-content/uploads/2018/08/40129151_484980881976624_5589774449684512768_n-690x457.jpg)
