Many activities are being implemented through Panvel Municipal Corporation to provide new employment opportunities to women empowerment. As a part of this, with the initiative of Women and Child Welfare Committee Chairman Mrs Harshada Upadhyay, 50 women from Kharghar area will be given training to drive three and four wheelers. The same training activity was inaugurated at Kharghar in the presence of dignitaries of BJP.
