On the eve of 342nd death anniversary of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, attended the Shiv Punyatithi Abhiwadan programme organized at Fort Raigad today and greeted the sacred memories of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.Union Minister of Civil Aviation Hon. Mr. Jyotiradityaji Scindia was present as the chief guest. On the occasion of this event, the main award of Shiv Punyasmriti Puraskar was given to Retired Indian Navy Surgeon Commander and History Researcher Dr. Uday Kulkarni while recipient of AVSM, PVSM Vice Admiral Murlidhar Sonawane and the descendants of Narveer Tanaji Malusare and Suryaji Malusare, were accorded special honours.At this time, a large crowd of Shivabhakts had gathered on the Kille Raigad  to pay respect to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.
