A joint meeting of CIDCO officers, SLAO Metro centre and villagers was arranged on Tuesday to discuss compensation of land within the boundaries of Gavan Village Panchayat Tal. Panvel to be acquired in the future for various projects by CIDCO, resettlement and distribution of 12.5% land. Attended the meeting called as per the instructions from Loknete Ramsheth Thakur. The villagers expressed their anger on the delayed distribution of 12.5 % of developed land by CIDCO administration and non-receipt of compensation of lands acquired in the year 2017. Instructed to convene the meeting again after getting detailed factual information from CIDCO officials on the issues raised by villagers.
