CIDCO’s negligence to the issue of project-affected people, which has been pending for the last 40 years, has fueled the dissatisfaction of landless project-affected farmers. In this context, myself along with MLA of Uran Shri. Mahesh Sheth Baladi held a meeting with CIDCO. However, as no concrete assurances were received at the end of the meeting, a black day will be observed at Dastan Phata on March 17, CIDCO’s anniversary Day under the leadership of the Action Committee to protest against CIDCO.
