Adopting the basic mantra of a struggle given by Loknete, deity of sons of the soil late D.B.Patil, under the leadership of D.B.Patil Navi Mumbai International Airport All-Party Action Committee, 27 Village Project-Affected Action Committee, a symbolic agitation was held at Ovale Phata to witness the closure of the airport. The rights of project victims are not and will not be achieved without struggle. CIDCO has MD, Joint MD, IAS level officers who only hold meetings but not decisions. There seems to be no alternative but to agitate as CIDCO administration has unable to take decision and are not taking the PAPs seriously and that only COVID situation will come to their rescue. Sons of the soil PAPs are the backbone of agitation. Our sole objective is to get all the demands of PAPs solved and not to stop the Airport work. It feels that CIDCO and State Govt. are not serious about the PAPs.Today a symbolic agitation took place, but CIDCO should keep in mind that henceforth stop work agitation will take place.
