Despite filing of a case on February 17, 2020 for embezzling money from thousands of account holders, no action has been taken in the Karnala Bank scam case till date. The scam has led to the displacement of many account holders and the destruction of the homes of many. Even then, this alliance Government is backing the scammers. Expressing public protest against this alliance government, along with MLA Mahesh Baladi on the steps of the Assembly House. Henceforth every effort will be made to recover the account holder’s money. The agitation was stopped as Shri Balasaheb Patil Minister for Cooperation assured to convene a meeting with ED and concerned officials.
